Installation/Uninstallation Issues: Q1.  I Quit the License Key Registration Dialog while installing the module. Q5.	I just received my Licence Key for NbJboss.When I click Register in the Licence Key dialog box, I got the following error:"Could not resolve IP Address. Please configure the network settings and try again." The module is not registered and therefore not useable.
Q6.	I have now buyed NbJboss3.2.5 Personal Edition via PayPal; the download process started but I got a problem with the download. How I'll receive another copy of the software I couldn't download and I payed for? Or may I still re-download it? Let me Know how?

Installation/Uninstallation Issues:

1. I Quit the License Key Registration Dialog while installing the module. Now I am unable to install the module again! 
While installing NbJBoss module if you select the Quit button of the LicenseKey Registration Dialog, the NbJBoss module will be installed and the IDE closes. To use our module you have to remove the the following files and install it again,

a. Netbeans_Home/lib/ 
debuggerCore.jar, httpserver.jar, jpdaDebugger.jar, openide.jar and openidex.jar 
b. Netbeans_Home/lib/lib/ext/ 
javax.servlet.jar, jboss-client.jar, jboss-common-client.jar, jboss-j2ee.jar, jboss.jar, jboss-jmx.jar, 
jbosssx-client.jar, jboss-system.jar, jnet.jar, jnp-client.jar, jpl-util-0_5b.jar, log4j.jar, metadata.jar, 
jmx-ejb-connector-client.jar, jmx-rmi-connector-client.jar and classes12_01.zip 
c. Netbeans_Home/modules 
nbjboss.jar 
d. Netbeans_User_Directory/system/modules/ 
com-siptech-nbjboss.xml 

2. I tried to re-install the module, and it threw a template already available error. 
If you want to delete the NbJBoss module from the Netbeans IDE, first uninstall the module before removing it, otherwise it will throw template already installed error when you re-install the NbJBoss module.

3. How do I upgrade from an older version of NbJBoss to a newer one? 
If you have already installed previous version of NbJBoss(1.3.2, 1.3.3), remove the following files from the Netbeans installed directory to install the current version of NbJBoss(2.3.3).

a. Netbeans_Home/lib/ 
debuggerCore.jar, ejb.jar, httpserver.jar, jpdaDebugger.jar, openide.jar and openidex.jar 
b. Netbeans_Home/lib/lib/ext/ 
ejb.jar, jboss.jar, jmxri.jar, jnpserver.jar, jpl-util-0_5b.jar, metadata.jar and verifier.jar 
c. Netbeans_Home/modules/ext/ 
jboss.jar, jmxri.jar, jnpserver.jar, metadata.jar and verifier.jar 

4. Can I change from NbJBoss 2.3.3 to NbJBoss 2.3.5 and vice versa? 
(i) NbJBoss 2.3.3 to NbJBoss 2.3.5 If you have already installed the NbJBoss(2.3.3) version, remove the following files from the Netbeans installed directory to install NbJBoss (2.3.5).

a. Netbeans_Home/lib/ 
debuggerCore.jar, httpserver.jar, jpdaDebugger.jar, openide.jar and openidex.jar 
b. Netbeans_Home/lib/lib/ext/ 
javax.servlet.jar, jboss-client.jar, jboss-common-client.jar, jboss-j2ee.jar, jboss.jar, jboss-jmx.jar, 
jbosssx-client.jar, jboss-system.jar, jnet.jar, jnp-client.jar, jpl-util-0_5b.jar, log4j.jar, metadata.jar, 
jmx-ejb-connector-client.jar, jmx-rmi-connector-client.jar and classes12_01.zip 

(ii) NbJBoss 2.3.5 to NbJBoss 2.3.3 Remove the files named nbjboss.jar from Netbeans_Home/modules nbjboss- *.jar from Netbeans_Home/lib/ext/ and install NbJboss 2.3.5

The problem is most likely due to java not being able to resolve the IP address of your system. This is due to improper values in the user's /etc/hosts file. You need to edit the file, supplying your IP address and machine name 

Sample host file contents

# Do not remove the following line, or various programs 
# that require network functionality will fail. 127.0.0.1 localhost 
#192.168.66.234 tiger.siptech.co.in 

Linux OS

File location : /etc/hosts 
You need to login as root to do it. After updating the file, you have to run the following command as root 
/usr/sbin/xinetd -restart 

Windows 

File Location : C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. 
Once you update the file you need to restart. And now the module should work. 

6. I have now buyed NbJboss3.2.5 Personal Edition via PayPal;the download process started but I got a problem with the download.How I'll receive another copy of the software I couldn't download and I payed for? Or may I still redownload it? Let me Know how? 
Once the amount you paid via PayPal is confirmed,we will send across the module with the license key.

Technical Issues: 

7. Do the templates generated support EJB 2.0? 
The current NbJBoss EJB Template is EJB1.1 specification compliant, and will be updated to EJB2.0 in the next NbJBoss build.

8. What files does the NbJBoss verifier verify? 
The NbJBoss verifier verifies files of type JAR and EAR. WAR file cannot be verified by the NbJBoss verifier.

9. I am unable to debug my client code! Why? 
Only server-side debugging is possible using NbJBoss debugger.

10. While packaging my Jar application, I entered some properties, went to the Next panel and came Back, and all my values were lost. 
In Jar packager wizard, the entries in the 'SecurityEntries', 'RelationShip', 'Finder/Select' and 'Entity Properties' panel will get refreshed (default values will be set) during editing an EJB jar file.

11. Do you support generation of jbosscmp-jdbc.xml file? 
Generation of jbosscmp-jdbc.xml will be supported in the next (NbJBoss 2.3.3) build.

12. What happens to the properties if I removed a file from my bean? 
During JAR/WAR packaging and editing, if you add/remove a file to/from the bean then default properties will be set.

13. I entered a property, but it was not saved! 
Please type 'Enter' key after giving values in the table for each cell. This is a Swing requirement.

14. How to compile the generated Enterprise Beans in NetBeans IDE? 
Mount the Jar jboss-j2ee.jar in NetBeans explorer.

15.When i attempt to package an EJB, it produces several exceptions.Even with this exceptions,I created a jar file.But when i verified by right click the jar icon using "verifier", verification failed. How can i use your tool to package EJB into .jar file succesfully? 
You can able to create jar file successfully, by creating EJB(Entity/Session) files under the already mounted filesystem.

16.Do you have an evalution or some screenshots? i need to know the product before i buy. 
Yes we have User document(UserView.html) which includes links for all the screenshots. 

17. When I try to click on the add button in page 2 of the package enterprisebean wizard, i get a ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. The exception occurs when i'm trying to add .class files. 
Try to avoid editing the JAR file. If you need any modifications, recreate the JAR file

18. I always got DEPLOYEMENT FAILED!when I try to deploy a web module or a jar file to JBoss-3.2.3.Other operations are pretty good.JBoss instance is present under JBoss Server Registry.I attach the files i tryed to deploy.Please answer! Which is my error? 

1. If j2ee.jar is in the system's classpath, then HTTPServer will not behave as it should and deployment will fail.

2. Configuration files of type .conf, cannot be edited.

3. JBoss Server registry is not persistant.

4. In Linux Red Hat 9 user's etc/hosts file should have proper values otherwise IDE will generate error

19. How do I know the version number of my module? 
The technical support team will require you to specify the version and build number of the module in your mail. To know the version and build number of the module, go and select the NbJBoss module in the Options window of Netbeans. Just send the Specification(Version Number) and Implementation(Build Number) values.

20. Will NbJBoss2.3.5 support Netbeans 3.4.1? 
No. NbJboss 2.3.5 supports only Netbeans 3.5, and JBoss 3.2.1.

21. If I buy the 2.3.5 version of NbJboss, will I get free upgrading to your coming version? 
Our major upgrades are normally priced.

22. What is the difference between Personal & Enterprise edition 
Functionality wise Personal & Enterprise edition both are same Personal Edition, is recommended for a single user. Enterprise Edition, is recommended for a company where more than one employee wants use NbJBoss

23. Do you offer a J2EE Integration plugin for NetBeans with Tomcat 4.x/Jboss 3.x ? 
NbJBoss2.3.5 offer plugin for JBoss 3.2.1.

24.How much does NbJboss2.3.5 Costs ? 
NbJBoss2.3.5 costs 50$.

25. How to send a Query to NbJBoss Team? 
Mail your Queries to nbjboss@siptech.co.in . Dont forget to send the NetBeans Log file along with the query. This would be helpful for us to identify your problems well.

26. What will happen if I try to use the nbjboss for netbeans and jboss version which is not compatible? 
Some modules of nbjboss may not work properly.

27. What version of JDK does NbJboss2.3.5 supports? 
NbJboss 2.3.5 supports JDK1.4 and later version.

28. Why NetBeans IDE generates Error while Installing NbJboss 2.3.5 in Linux Red Hat 9 ? 
The problem is due to java not being able to resolve the IP address of your system. This is due to improper values in the user's /etc/hosts file. So Linux Red Hat 9 Users should edit the user's /etc/hosts file, supplying your IP address and m/c name .

29. Will NbJBoss2.3.5 supports JBoss3.2.2 or JBoss4.0? 
JBoss4.0 is not intended for developers for production at present.NbJBoss2.3.5 is recommended to use with JBoss3.2.1

30.Will newer version(NbJBoss2.3.6) supports netbeans 3.6? 
Yes, newer version(NbJBoss2.3.6) will support netbeans 3.6 

31.I'm interested about NbJboss , but I prefer banking account for payment through my online banking , is it possible ? 
You can buy through Pay-Pal or the alternative way would be for you to transfer the amount to our US bank account. Once the amount is realized, we will send across the module with the license key.

32. Is there anyway to evaluate your product (a kind of 30-day trial.)? 
We do not have any evaluation version as such.

33. I want to buy your product and paid via paypal but few country names are not in paypal country list. 
The alternative way would be for you to transfer the amount to our US bank account. Once the amount is realized, we will send across the module with the license key.

34. Iam not having international credit card. Shall i pay with any other credit card (with authorization), and the license in my name? 
There should not be any problem in accepting pay through others credit card and license in your name.
