1. EJB Template Wizard 
EJB Templates are provided to facilitate easy creation of Session Beans, CMPs, EMPs and Message Driven Beans as per EJB 1.1 / EJB 2.0 spec. 

2. Compilation (NbJBoss 2.3.6) 
Popup-Menu is provided to compile EJB(Session/Entity) files, after mounting jboss-j2ee.jar from "jboss3.2.1/client" folder under Filesystem. 


3. Packager 

  • EJB packager
    NbJBoss provides a simple and easy interface for packaging EJB Jar files. A convenient Wizard walks the user through a set of steps where we can easily package the EJB class files, create the appropriate deployment descriptor and wraps up into a Jar file. The EJB Jar Packager Wizard provides support for all types of standards EJBs - Stateless Session Bean, Stateful Session Bean, Container Managed Persisted Entity Beans and Bean Managed Persisted Entity Beans. 

  • WAR packager
    Support for packaging Web module War files. Here again, an easy-to-use Wizard guides the user through a steps where we can assemble JSP/Servlet files into a deployable War file with appropriate deployment descriptor.

  • EAR packager
    Support for packaging J2EE applications from EJB and Web modules.

4. Verifier 
This can be used to verify if a JAR file is a valid EJB-JAR, and it can also verify if an EAR file is a valid Enterprise Application EAR. 

5. Configuration Editor (JBoss) 
A configuration editor is provided to facilitate fine-tuning and configuring a JBoss server installation. Supports easy editing of JBoss configuration files like jboss.jcml, standardjaws.xml, etc., 

6. JBoss Server Registry 
NbJBoss helps to manage one or more JBoss server instances within the IDE. The servers could be running on local or remote machines. 

7. Deployer 
User Can deploy/ un-deploy the EJB-JAR, Web application-WAR or Enterprise application EAR files to/from JBoss 3.2.1 server instance. (The server instance should have been registered in the "JBoss Server Registry"). 

8. JBoss Console 
User can use this to invoke and browse the JBoss console from NetBeans IDE. 

9. JNDI Browser 
User can use this to invoke and browse the JNDI browser from NetBeans IDE. 

10. JBoss Debugger 
Supports debugging of applications running on local / remote JBoss server instances.
